PostSubject: Mock Draft   Mock Draft Icon_minitimeTue Nov 20, 2007 7:54 pm

Here is my mock draft, if i get everything completely wrong, plz dont get too angry:

Round 1

1. Dallas- Darren Mcfadden
Dallas doesnt have many holes, and although their running is solid, a talent like Mcfadden is tough to pass on. Brian Brohm is another option here.
2. New England- Josh Barrett, FS
This pick could be a reach, but NE is a strong team on defense and offense, and the only slightly lacking position is FS. Barrett is an excellent defender, and will thrive in the Pat's system.
3. Minnesota- Brian Brohm, QB
Minny has weaknesses just about everywhere, and the best place to start is QB. Brohm is definitly the best in this class, and will hopefully perform well with the Vikes.
4. Green Bay- Jake Long, T
You may think that the Pack will give up on Rodgers here, but now that Brohm is gone, not many of the QBs are reliable enough to build a team around. The offensive line is decent, and with Jake Long still on the board, the pack will have to pick him up to fill that vital LT spot.
5. New England- James Laurinaitis, LB
Not really anything the Pats can do here that'll effect their team, Laurinaitis will bring youth to an aging MLB position, and would be the safest pick here.
6. New England- Andre Caldwell, WR
Kinda a reach, but 1 more WR wont hurt NE
7. Indianapolis-C. Jackson CB
Haha IDK why
8. Cincinnati- Will Arnold, G
Cincies weak LG spot makes the choice a necessity
9. Miami- Marcus Harrison, DT
Keith Traylor is old, and the d-line is weak:gotta go Harrison
10. Pittsburgh- Pat Hill, RB
Well, I would really like to take a WR, but no one on the board at this point would help the Steelers. Hill would take some of the load off of Taylor, and they would make a nice 1-2 punch.
11. Arizona- Xavier Adibi
Tommy Polley is growing a beard down in 'Zona, and although o'line is a need, and dominant force like Adibi is a golden opportunity to improve you defense. Not taking him would be a mistake.
12. New Orleans- Tom Zikikowski, S
The Saints safety position is lacking the skill thats on the rest of the team, and by taking Zibikowski, both FS and SS will benefit.
13. New Orleans- Limas Sweed, WRThere is a large drop in skill at the WR position after Reggie Bush, and Sweed's explosiveness will be like a new toy for Drew Brees.
14. Kansas City- Matt Ryan, QB
They make this pick faster than you can say "John David Booty".
15. New York Jets-Fred Davis, TE
This pick could possibly be the biggest steal. Davis has speed and hands like a WR, but the grit and determination of an o-lineman.
16. Denver- Zach Bowman, CB
Well Denver is stacked everywhere, so its hard to make this pick, but Bowman would just strengthen them on defense.
17. Atlanta- Quentin Groves, DE
Not picking a DE here, the best one here, would be a big mistake for Atlanta.
18. New York Giants
19. Kansas City
20. Falcons
21. Jacksonville
22. Tampa Bay
23. Jacksonville
24. Dallas
25. Oakland
26. New York
27. St. Louis
28. New York Jets
29. New York Jets
30. San Diego
31. New York
32. Pittsburgh

Great, just great, looks like the Old Ravens GM also traded away the first. First he trades for so many 1 year players (Briggs was let go), now this....

is that why he set the team up for declining with some old guys, and 3 1 year players over 95 OVR? That's why Briggs had to be let go, not enough points, and bonehead move to get 3 of them.

I'd like to see your entire first round mock. How long did it take you to do Top 10?

Where does it say the rookie overalls? In NCAA 08 he is the highest rated QB, which means he should be at least an 80 or higher in the draft.

He comes out low though. Usually between 73-75. I edited his ratings in NCAA to get him to come out at a 77.( I was frustrated that he came out so low)

Also its not just overalls. In 09 I had Pat White rated 99 overall at the end of the season and he was a 78 in madden. Madden dropped his accuracy really low.

he should take him in the 1st. Cause he's listed as a 6th rounder.
