| OK, I have some stuff I'd like to say.
In the last week or so, the activity of the league has really picked up. This is a really good thing for the league, and I feel we have finally established our league from other smaller leagues which tried to start up (I can think of so many which failed in the last 8 months or so). However, I stated this in the Vacation thread, I can't be nearly as active as I have been in the last few months. I need you guys to step it up, and I really mean it. I still have to do like 95% of the work in the league, and thats not how its supposed to be. We have 5 admins, you guys. Ask them some of these things.
As for the draft, there WERE mistakes, and I usually don't like to point fingers but in this instance I have to. When trades were made, the Draft Council did not update the draft order, and because of this we had many teams making picks at the incorrect slots, or making picks that weren't even theirs.
Now I understand that you may not be happy about not receiving a player, but you guys can vote for a draft council that you feel may do a better job instead of blaming me.
Back to my activity. I am curious about this: Let's say I was delegated to a role only as a simmer in the league. A Simmer and a Trade mod and all that other stuff. Would the league survive?
I'd like your opinions on that question, because frankly to be honest I'm not sure. I'd like to see who would take control of situations which had gotten out of control, and things like that.
So I think we will implement this. For the next 5 days, I will not take my usual Administrative abilities. I will still be an admin of course, but I will mainly be the simmer, and a trade mod and of whatever groups I am in.
Feel free to comment on anything I said in here, unless you are going to complain about the Draft Council, in which case don't bother.
Thanks for taking the time to read this

| Ive said before and I've sent you a PM that I would help more after the 29th of this month. I think everyones spot should be re-evaluated and maybe re-voted on. All these and Admins here, and what have they done? We have five Admins and none of them are really taking responsibility for what has happened. We need Admins that will actually do work, and make sure things stay organized. Like I said after the 29th I'm free for whatever needs help with. | |

One of the few times me and DC agree Actually me and DC talked a lot about this most recently and I agree 100% with him. Sox you know I got your back, but for example, that Draft..was poorly organized and poor done. Not blaming you, but what i am doing is calling out the Administration Staff, I'm also saying, a week for a trade to get considered/passed/rejected is kinda ridiculous. This week is understandable with Christmas and all, but on an ordinary week, it seems like every keeps turning to Sox and he has little help. If this is the way it's going to be, in my opinion as a GM, i think big changes need to occur

| I would like to take on more responsibility within the league. I have been very active within the last month or two and I believe I can do wonders for this league. Hit me up if you need help. | |

| Indeed, and just so you know Sox i'm not about to make a public platform for myself, but you know you can get help from me if you need it.
But in all seriousness I think the Administration staff REALLY needs reevaluated, and you need to get guys around you that you know you can rely on and trust.

| While some things can be tweaked and improved, I am not for sweeping changes for the sake of sweeping changes. Things seem to run significantly better now then they did when I first joined back in August. That doesn't mean they can't be better, but as you pointed out this league has lasted when quite a few other haven't.
I'm sure things can be improved and if people aren't doing what they need to do then maybe they need to be replaced. I just don't think we need drastic changes every time there is an issue and that issue gets blown up and out of control.
I also feel when there is an issue many people go to sox, because while there are 5 admins, generally sox has had the final say on all league matters. No matter what you do there is always going to be some one who has the final say and that is the person who the issues are going to be taken to.

Neither am I. The Changes i'm suggesting NEED to be made. - wildcats wrote:

While this is true, most leagues fail due to a failure or refusal to change. - wildcats wrote:

We're not talking about drastic changes every time. we're talking about the necessity for a Administration Staff that actually administrates. Because as ALL OF US could tell by the draft alone, there is a serious lack of effort. - wildcats wrote:

We're not just talking about issues being taken to Sox, we're talking about equal share of the work, which i have yet to see. Keep in mind this comes from a person who has valid, successful experience as a GM, Administrator, and Owner of Leagues such as this.

| I don't necessarily disagree with any point, and you got my vote for more responsibility if you want it. ( I have seen you be a very good admin and GM in other leagues) My biggest concern is that instead of positive changes things could end up getting worse. I agree that sox needs some more help and if the current admins aren't pulling their weight then changes should be made. I just feel that there has been a lot of positive things that have happened with this league that get lost each time there is an issue that gets a bit out of hand. | |

I completely understand where you're coming from. And like i said, i'm certainly not trying to make this into a campaign platform for myself.

thats wat i was gonna say Feel free to make the connection. who's the bad guy here though? That's supposed to be the interesting part, once you figure it out. Here's another clue (Studying this part in history at school, plus part of my background): How did Stalin rise to power in the 1920s in Russia? He was released from prison, took over a newspaper, supported Kerensky, etc.
He basically worked his way up You have part of the Answer. You have how he got to the top 7 (Stalin, Trostsky, Lenin, Zinoviev, Kamenev, Bukharin, and Rykov) now, he did he seize power.
