XBOX 360 help

i am getting one for christmas, what accessories should i get with it? or what games ( i am getting madden and halo for sure).

madden and halo are the two i got.

umm get two controllers, get live gold for a yr

Gears of War was really good. I also enjoyed MLB 2k7 and Fifa 07.
Also I haven't played it yet, but the Orange Box (half life, team fortress, and portal) should be pretty good.

It's Error0073, but I am 360-less at the moment. My brother is a Marine and is in Japan until Feb. so I let him take the 360 with him.

I'm getting XBox360 for Christmas as well actually. Instead of a Halo Clan... We should make an Online Madden Clan

for each game, you have the option of playing it live. come back to me with the result and i will sim so that whichever team won, wins in the sim.

how does that sound?

(idea came from VNFL, but they never really did it)

Terrible idea, imo. Gives a HUGE advantage to people who have 360's, because they can personally pick the plays, tweek their rosters, blitz when they feel like it, pass to whom the like (especially good if you have an average QB, possible to make him superstar-esque), whereas people without would have to just rely on adjustments posted on here. Truly Unfair and unbalanced.

That's actually real true, never thought of it that way. Good call though, I say we just keep simming the games. Keeps stats in track with the rest of the league.

lol, you would use the stats from the sim, just make sure that the outcome is the same as the 360 game, plain and simple, if you suck at Madden or know that the guy you may be playing can beat you, then just go by the sim, it is not like you would be required to play on the 360

I don't play anyone this year that has Live, besides.....I have only played 3 games on Madden before, haha, Sox killed me in one

You have to get Assassin's Creed...its the best game I've played next to Halo online...its ridiculously addicting and soo much fun!!

But other than that, NCAA Games are fun, 2 controllers are a must, online subscription makes gameplay much better as well. I also recommend the extra fan attachment that you can buy...it has made a world of difference with my system.

Other than that, just have fun bro!

Ill add it up tomorrow (Id do it tonight but I dont have a router and unplugging everything is a big of a hassel), I dont have any of those games but Im thinking of getting GOW and Im definately buying Madden so hopefully we can play soon.
