| lol they're giving up SOOOOO much young talent though . . .
Miller >>>>>>> Willis
Those minor leaguers are gunna be studs . . . but hopefully Cabs and D-Train will help the Tigers climb out of the funk they were in last year. Cabrera and Renteria will make up for the offensive loss of Guillen.

That's not going to be a fun team to pitch to.

Unless your rotation consists of Johan Santana, Josh Beckett, Daisuke Matsuzaka, Curt Schilling, and Tim Wakefield. Your #5 starter is a 16 game winner

Your #5 starter is a 16 game winner After Santana and Beckett, the other three don't scare most AL teams.

I didn't boast about the Yankees pitching staff and say that they could shut down the Tigers new and improved offense, so where do they come into play?

I'm not denying that. But, you have to admit, without Santana (ATM), the Tigers could rival the Red Sox on paper.

So why even bring them up? What did they have to do with anything? Obsessed over them like every other Sox fan in the world?
