| we would run it basically the same way the NBA does their rookie draft lottery, the lower-placing teams get more ballots and have a better chance for an early pick | |

| This is a very good idea and lots of leagues use it. I say we do it, it will work out the best for picking top FA's. | |

every team will have a chance, but like the last place team will have like 30 ballots or something and the first place team will have like 1

umm i dont know, which would be better? that wouldnt really make too much sense though.... First 13 teams are randomized in FA position then last 19 teams arent? And anyway, we're just voting on the idea of a lottery now

| We should give all 32 teams a pick, I mean, what other way would we have to get good FA's, I mean ya, FA points, but if a team spends all their points on one player that is the best in the FA class and they are the best team, it just wouldn't be fair to the worse team in the league and the best team in the league. | |

| I said if we didn't do the FA draft with every team, then we would have to issue FA points to bid on people, which I think the draft is the better idea at least for getting the best 32 FA's out of the way so there isn't too much controversy. | |

| What about instead of a lottery, how about snaking the FA draft. Actually even if you do the lottery maybe we could snake the FA draft anyways. | |

| cause with the depth of the FA draft and what ur expecting it to be a top 5 pick will end up getting an 88 85 and 81 which could bolster their team insanely. while the low end teams may loose players and they'll only get two good calibre players by evening that pick out in the middle it keeps it fair especially sence a high rookie pick that they'll have is very valuable | |
