Resignings rule change

ok from now on, when you resign your player, IF he made it to the pro-bowl you do the position multiplier AND THEN the pro-bowl multiplier


so for ex. If a HB was resigned and he made the pro-bowl, then the resignings would be 1.0 (position) x 1.2 (pro-bowl)

actually it usually results in less points


the only case where it results in more is if its a QB thats in the pro-bowl

(ex. if your resignings a safety 0.8 x 1.2 = 0.96 where as before it would have just been 1.2)

wouldn't .8 x 1.2 br .96 either way u do it???

the old rule was if the player just made the pro-bowl youd be doing that pro-bowl multiplier instead of the position multiplier, new rule is you do the pro-bowl multiplier with the position multiplier.

So before

a 90 QB 29 years old signed for 1 year would cost (if he made the probowl)

6.5 x 1.2 x 1 x 1 = 7.8
ovr x probowl x age x contract

now its (using the same example)
6.5 x 1.1 x 1.2 x 1 x 1 = 8.58
ovr x position x probowl x age x contract
